NEW DELHI - RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK

Arrive Delhi in the morning at Indira Gandhi International airport, meet and greet with our representative, transfer to the hotel near airport for refreshment. Continue your journey to Ranthambore National Park (345 km, 8 hr drive approx.) Birding en-route at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary for some of the target birds like Sind Sparrow, Brooks Leaf Warbler, Greenish Warbler and other Winter Visitors birds. Progress your journey to Ranthambore National Park, check-in into the hotel, enjoy your lunch and brief session of rest. Then going out for birding outside the Park, possibility to spot Painted Sandgrouse, Indian Courser, Yellow Wattled Lapwing and other birds.

RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK

We take morning and afternoon safari into the Ranthambore National Park to look for India’s Big Cats the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Leopard. Other possibilities we have are Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer. Parallely, we will focus on birding opportunities to spot Painted Spurfowl, White Naped Woodpecker, Small Minivet and Indian Vulture.

RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK

We take another day morning and afternoon safari into the Ranthambore National Park to look for India’s Big Cats. Other possibility are Ruddy Mongoose, Indian Grey Mongoose, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Striped Hyena.

Parallely, we will focus on birding opportunities to spot Painted Spurfowl, White Naped Woodpecker, Rufous Treepie (one of the most familiar bird in this park), Yellow-crowned Woodpecker, Small Minivet, Indian Vulture.

RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK - TAAL CHHAPAR

Start of another great day in between the rhythmic melodies of the birds, early start after the breakfast and drive to Taal Chhapar (390 km, 07.30 hr drive) We will try our luck for Indian Spotted Creeper, if reach on time at Taal Chhapar.

TAAL CHHAPAR - JAISALMER

Proceed to Jor Bheed, on the outskirt area of Bikaner (132 km, 02.30 hr drive) Birding around Camel Dump area for Yellow-eyed Pigeon, Egyptian Vulture, Red-headed Vulture, Cinereous Vulture, Eurasian Griffon, Eastern-imperial Eagle and Black-eared Kite. Continue your journey to Jaisalmer (330 km, 05.30 hr drive) Visit to Wood Fossil Park (if time permits) near Jaisalmer for Red-tailed Wheatear, Trumpeter Finch, Striolated Bunting, Desert Lark, Indian Eagle Owl.

JAISALMER - DESERT NATIONAL PARK

Two full day Birding Sessions at Desert National Park for target birds Great Indian Bustard, Cream-coloured Courser, Black-crowned Finch-Lark, Punjab Raven, Cinereous Vulture, Eurasian Griffon, Peregrine Falcon, Laggar Falcon, Desert Warbler, Stoliczka Bushchat, Desert Wheatear, Variable Wheatear, and Rufous-fronted Prinia. You will be having an option to visit Jaisalmer, if our target will be archived. You could enjoy the half day sightseeing of the town for the very famous Jaisalmer Golden Fort and Havelis in the city which is famous for cultural activities.

We have again a full day birding sessions at Desert National Park for trying to get best view of our target birds Great Indian Bustard, Indian Courser, Bimaculated Lark, Rufous-tailed lark, Desert Lark, Greater Short-toed Lark, Trumpeter Finch, Macqueen’s Bustard, Rufous-fronted Prinia, and many more.

You will be having an option to visit Jaisalmer, if our target will be archived. You could enjoy the half day sightseeing of the town for the very famous Jaisalmer Golden Fort and Havelis in the city which is famous for cultural activities.

JAISALMER - SIANA

Drive to the desert village, Kheechan, also known as the “Demoiselle Crane” village (170 km, 02.30 hr drive) for Demoiselle Cranes then continue to Siana (300 km, 06.00 hr drive) lunch en-route, check-in into the Siana Garden Lodge. Get ready for an evening safari for spotting of Striped Hyena, Indian Palm Civet, Indian Hare, Indian Nightjar, Indian Eagle- Owl and Indian Vulture. Back to the lodge, followed by dinner.

SIANA - MOUNT ABU - LITTLE RANN OF KUTCH

Awaken in between the chirping melodies of our winged friends, early start with packed breakfast to Mount Abu, it is a small hill station, located at an altitude of 4,000 feet above sea level, and the tallest peak in the Aravalli Range. Opportunity to spot Green Avadavat, Sulphur-bellied Warbler, Indian Scimitar Babbler, White-bellied Drongo, Crested Bunting, and Plum-headed Parakeet. Extend your drive to Little Rann of Kutch, check-in into the lodge. Enjoy your evening safari for Sykes’s Nightjar etc.

We will have two full days to explore the area with the possibility to spot Wild Ass, Indian Grey Wolf, Desert Fox, Indian Fox. The destination is well known for spotting McQueen Bustard, Greater Hoopoe-Lark, Sociable Plover, Tawny Eagle, Eastern Imperial and Greater Spotted Eagle, Rufous-tailed Lark, Ashy-crowned Sparrow Lark, Pallid Scops-Owl, Eurasian Scops-Owl, Short-eared Owl, Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse, Common Crane, Demoiselle Crane, and lots of other winter visitor birds.

Rann of Kutch is a unique landscape owing to its geomorphological features. It is bound by the Nagarparkar fault in the north in the arch of Radhanpur-Barmer & Kathiawar fault in the south. It is the biggest barren salty and marshy stretch of Land of 12,500 square kilometres area consisting of the Little Rann of Kutch and the Great Rann of Kutch, both joining at Adipur. It is one of the largest protected Ramsar Site and a sensitive wildlife sanctuary.

Here we will be having two full days birding session for probability to spot Grey Hypocolius, White-naped Tit, Marshall’s Lora, Sykes’s Lark, Red-tailed Wheatear, Sykes’s Nightjar, Spotted Sandgrouse and some of the ocean bird at Mandavi Coast with a chance to see Crab Plover, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Lesser and Greater Sand Plover, Great Thick-Kknee, Slender-billed Gull, Black-headed Gull, Brown-headed Gull, and lots of others birds.
